Make an Impact: Become an Impact Tutor at SVCC
Are you a motivated student who enjoys helping younger students? You should join our Impact Tutoring team!
Impact Tutors provide academic support to local middle school students. As a tutor, you’ll be rewarded by helping young students gain confidence and learn new strategies.
Impact Tutors provide tutoring on Tuesdays from 3:00-5:00 PM on the SVCC campus within the SVCC Learning Commons.
We are looking for volunteers who are comfortable explaining various subjects, especially math. This is a great opportunity for strong communicators or those considering entering the teaching profession. If you are patient, friendly, and enjoy helping others, you’ll be a perfect fit!
Training will be provided. Prerequisite: Algebra I
