The PTC is organized for the purpose of bringing high quality education to students by bringing together the parents and teachers of District #275 and providing financial support for educational materials, endeavors, and activities that provide fun, excitement, and learning opportunities for the students funded outside the annual school budget.
Wildlife abounds at ANC due to its proximity to a woodland bluff overlooking the Mississippi River along with a reconstructed prairie on site. Inside there are over 30 taxidermy species on display, a working observation beehive, and - during the summer - a Monarch Butterfly Nursery where we raise and release hundreds of Monarchs each year. And we are continuing to grow! Please join us in advancing our mission: To educate, inspire, and encourage all to have an appreciation for our natural environment through exploration and demonstration.
We are a public school that serves students in grades 7-12 from the Franklin Grove, Ashton and Lee Center Communities.
The mission of Bethel Reformed Church is to follow and obey Jesus Christ. We carry out that mission by loving God and our neighbor, making disciples, and telling the good news of Jesus Christ.
Bi-County Special Education Cooperative provides life skills and instructional support for students with developmental delays, emotional disabilities, Autism, and intellectual disabilities. We provide community based instruction for a smooth transition into adulthood. The Cooperative also provides related services to 11 districts in Whiteside/Carroll counties.
As Northwest Illinois’ regional planning organization, BHRC engages in community and economic development, natural resources conservation, and planning in Carroll, Jo Daviess, Lee, Ogle, Stephenson, and Whiteside counties. We seek to improve the quality of life for communities and individuals.

Since April 1963 several members (Lions!) in the Chadwick area have volunteered their time
and talents to serving others. Some of the service activities are the planting of trees in town,as
well as providing eye glasses for needy people. Several times during the year we install, and
remove the United States flags along the highway and in the cemetery. Lions provide, install
and remove Christmas decorations on Main street. Additionally we create fruit baskets at
Christmas time and deliver them to the single elderly in the community.
We also contribute to Lions of Illinois Foundation to support statewide projects such as the
Hearing and Glaucoma units, which come to Chadwick for free testing. The Center for Sight
and Sound, Rockford is another organization we help support.
In addition to our monthly meetings, our building is available for private use for families or other
organizations in the area. It is also given for use as the polling place. When we sponsor the
blood drive for the Red Cross, it is held in the Legion/Lions building too.
During the year we have several fund raising events. The major one is the food stand at the
Carroll County Fair which is operated from 7:00 in the morning until closing time. We have
pork chop bbq and pork sandwich fund raisers during the year as well as spaghetti suppers.
We have a snack stand when we host the Little League All Stars baseball games in July.
To all ‘Impact’ students, we will make available opportunities to help us in both fund raising and
service activities. If we have failed to list an event on the Impact calendar, please call

Baughman-Diehl American Legion Post 553 in Milledgeville is a Veteran's Organization with a focus on supporting local veterans as well as the youth in the area. Our sponsorships in youth groups include local Cub Scout Pack #55, Boy Scout Troop #55, and a Legion Boys Baseball team. Annually we conduct flag etiquette education and training to elementary students, Jr. High Patriotism essay awards, and multiple college scholarships awarded to graduating Seniors. We maintain Veteran's Memorials in both Chadwick and Milledgeville as well as place flags throughout four local cemeteries and along the highway and Main St in Milledgeville during holidays and other special events. Fundraising events to support these activities include semi-annual porkchop luncheons, the cake walk at the Carroll County Fair, and our concessions stand at home Missiles football games.

The purpose of Clinton Substance Abuse Council is to build strong, stable and informed community-based coalitions in the gateway area for the purpose of establishing healthy and caring communities free of substance abuse and related behavioral health issues.
We have an archery range, rifle & pistol range, fully stocked pond, many trails, and camping areas available for members. We are open to the public for skeet shooting & trap shooting on certain days of the week, plus we open the club up for local youth trap shooting groups for practice and competition. Twice a year we hold free events to the public for youth to try archery, bb shooting, fishing and other fun activities.
We are a Bible church with recovery ministries, a commitment to children's and youth ministry and serving opportunities (Background checks required). We have opportunities to work with tech, audio, video and other tech. We have a live worship team with opps for those who play and instrument or sing. We love to give youth an young adults opportunities to serve as well as grow in leadership.
Dixon Chamber of Commerce & Main Street focuses on community wide business vitality, tourism development, and preservation of the downtown. While we focus on those, we also put on many events throughout the year for our community. These events rely on the support of the community through volunteer involvement.
The Elks is an organization that is widely known for its community involvement. We host several kids' events, golf outing, drug awareness programs, hoop shoot, weddings, receptions, celebration of life, luncheons, and many other gatherings. The volunteer could help with set up, tear down, and running different areas of an event. We are a friend and welcoming place to learn new skills that can be used in someone's future.
The YMCA offers a variety of volunteer opportunities in program services, special events, committees, and governance of the organization. Volunteers are the backbone of our YMCA and we look forward to engaging IMpact Students in our YMCA Work.

The Dixon Petunia Festival is held the first week in July, over the July 4th holiday. The mission of the Dixon Petunia Festival Corporation is to foster a spirit of teamwork among the business community, civic and religious organizations, community leaders, and private citizens to help promote pride, tourism, growth, and development for the Dixon area.
We are a church in Morrison. Our opportunities are mostly focused on working with students under 5th grade. This could be something like additional supervision on a movie night, or assisting in our nursery, or helping out an adult leader teaching a class. Exceptional Care and Training Center (ECTC), a private, not-for-profit facility, has been part of the community since 1979. ECTC provides residential and day training services to persons with medically complex and developmental disabilities (MC/DD). We provide a unique service in the community and even within the State, being one of only ten facilities in the State of Illinois with the MC/DD license.
We are a historic church in downtown Dixon. From time to time we'll need volunteers to help with children activities as well as A/V tech help.

As the “friends” group to the Franklin Creek State Natural Area, Franklin Creek Conservation Association operates the Grist Mill as our Welcome and Education Center, preserves the land through stewardship, and engages visitors at public events.

Jubilee Bible Camp is located 15 minutes south of Dixon. We are a new and exciting camp ministry, but we have a lot of work to do to get the buildings and property back up to standards for campers. Come help us paint, clear trees and brush, and prepare for camp!

The mission of the Lee County Farm Bureau Foundation is to encourage and fund ag related educational opportunities for the youth of Lee County. Volunteers will assist in preparing materials used in Agriculture in the Classroom lessons in area elementary and middle schools. Volunteers may also assist with special event activities such as fundraiser efforts and the 5th grade Ag Expo.
LOMC is a retreat center started in 1974 and open to religious and non-religious (secular) groups of all types from schools, churches, scouting, family reunions and crafting groups. LOMC has over 600 acres just outside of Oregon, IL with prairie, forest, wetlands and numerous flora and fauna throughout. Groups enjoying staying overnight or just coming out for a day. In the summer we host overnight summer camps for children and youth drawing people from all over Illinois.
Many volunteer projects would include outdoor activities that involve improving trails and activity areas as well as nature conservation activities such as collecting seeds from native plants.
We are a Community Behavioral Heath Facility providing services to individuals ages birth and up. We provide mental health services as well as services for those struggling with addiction and substance misuse. Additionally, we provide education about mental health and substance use to youth, adults and families.
Here at the Lyndon Area Historical Society we are Bridging the past with the future. We preserve and archive Lyndon’s historical assets. We provide use of our facility to the public and support literacy through our Free Little Library.
The Maggie & Amos Foundation is a 501(c)(3) foundation, established to memorialize the lives of Maggie and Amos (Rosko) Meyer through charitable donations and scholarships. We host a one day event that includes a 5k, silent auction, street dance, food trucks, bags tournament, and kids zone.

The Morrison Rotary Club provides $3,000 in scholarships to MHS students annually. We also sponsor the annual Harvest Hammer and other events to raise funds to support activities in Morrison.

The Mt. Morris Senior Center provides activities and services for Senior Citizens and the Community. We use volunteers for many of our fundraisers as well as different events we put on.
Newman Central Catholic High School is a small Catholic high school located in Sterling, Illinois. We have students from the following areas Oregon, Amboy, Dixon, Polo, Sterling, Rock Falls, Bureau Valley and Morrison. Newman will have opportunities for students to participate in community service such as working concessions at sporting events or other events that Newman may host.
The Odell Public Library will provide access to information in various formats to inspire life-long learning. The library will strive to meet the needs of the community of Morrison for education, enlightenment, public space, and entertainment.
We are the Ogle County Fair. The fair may only be one week per year (dates vary but end of July - beginning of August), but we have other events on the grounds during other times of the year. There is also year-round maintenance needed.
Located across the street from Challand Middle School, our mission is to encourage people to reflect Jesus and serve others. We have volunteer opportunities available in childcare, teaching Sunday School to children, being part of the worship team on stage, or helping to run things behind the scenes on the computer and sound board. Most volunteer opportunities take place on Sunday mornings with our worship service, but there will be additional opportunities from time to time during the week, as well. We're a welcoming community that can't wait to partner with you!
Open Sesame is the largest Child care provider in the Sauk Valley area. We currently have 4 sites that we have children located in, our Main site, Lincoln School site, Sterling Site and Bright Beginnings. We service children six weeks to 12 years of age. Our Teachers concentrate on the social emotional, along with cognitive development of the children.
Our mission is to expose the children to many different aspects of our community and everyday life. We are a Non Profit that has been in business for over 45 years.
The Mount Carroll Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to promoting the community and the local businesses. We hold many family-oriented events throughout the year free of charge manned by volunteers.
We are a nonprofit resale/thrift store that receives donations of gently used items, as well as donations of items from a Walmart DC, which we then sell in order to support local youth programs in our district as well as funding a college scholarship. In the past two years we have donated money and or items to the Walnut library, the Walnut park district, the Bureau Valley high school Drama department, the Bureau Valley Scholastic Bowl team, the home ec and art departments as well as supporting a personal hygiene “pantry” for students…just to name a few. We simply would not thrive without volunteer support!
We are a nonprofit theater program for kids and young adults with special needs. We use mentors ages 13-23 who volunteer to work alongside our actors and assist them on learning their lines, choreography, and performing on stage. Our mentors give our actors a chance to shine one stage, and share their talents! For a lot of our actors this is the first time they have been given this opportunity.
We CAN NOT do this show with our mentor volunteers, so they are very important to the running of our program.

The purpose of the Prophetstown Area Historical Society is to help our citizens in emphasizing the need of locating, collecting and preserving historical materials and information. Our primary goal is educating the public about our shared history through the use of these materials. Growth and development are inevitable, but keeping a piece of the way we were is important for our heritage. Our historical society preserves the legacy of our ancestors, commemorates local heroes, and preserves historic architecture. The historical richness of our building holds keys to our community and reminds us of where our roots are.
Prophetstown Fire Protection District provides fire and ambulance service to Prophetstown, Lyndon and Hooppole. The district also encourages community outreach through fund raising activities and providing a first aid tent during Prophetstown's 4th of July celebration. Our department depends on the commitment from community volunteers to ensure the continuity of the organization.
Reagan Middle School is a 6th-8th grade school in Dixon IL.
Resthave is a Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Facility. It is a Christian based facility and was founded by our local churches 60 years ago. Our mission is to provide compassionate care while promoting human wholeness in a home-like atmosphere.

Rock Falls Tourism's mission is to generate awareness and create a positive economic impact by marketing The Greater Rock Falls, IL area as a regionally, nationally, and internationally recognized year-round preferred tourist destination. The fundamental mission of Rock falls Tourism is to develop economic prosperity & vibrant growth for the local economy through promoting and marketing the Greater Rock Falls. By developing quality marketing programs and events, Rock Falls Tourism will attract overnight lodging visitors and stimulate economic development and growth.
We are a Christian Camp that is open all year round. We have just under 100 acres to take care of. We have about 30 buildings and lots of projects. We look forward to the opportunity to have you come help work on a variety of projects at our camp.
Rotary International and the Rotary Club of Walnut are committed to then motto "SERVICE ABOVE SELF". In that vein, each year we hold numerous fundraisers to raise money for local community programs, schools and other charitable organizations. Furthermore, we host several events recognizing the efforts of people and organizations in our community.
Sauk Valley Foodbank serves 35 food pantries in the Sauk Valley. We supply food at a discounted amount for pantries to be able to give out to the community that they serve. On Saturdays we serve the public in the Sauk Valley with our Parking Lot Pantry Day. We give free food to the public only on this day.
Sauk Valley UNITE is a summer work camp where we paint the exterior of homes of citizens in need. This is a local mission trip, so instead of traveling far away to help others in need, we stay right here in the Sauk Valley. This is a 3 day camp where teens ages 8th grade through senior in high school spend the night at Bethel Reformed Church in Sterling while also painting homes, worshipping, and having fellowship with other teens. We use the Dues Center across the street for showers and swim nights. We feed you all the meals you need and have a snack shack available for you to purchase all your hungry snacking needs. This camp will count 24 hours of community service. If you sign up for this camp, you are expected to fully participate in the entire 3 day camp. There will be limited volunteers spots open. Registration for the 2022 UNITE is already closed and full. This will be an option for the 2023 UNITE.
The Sauk Valley Voices of Recovery, SVVOR, is a non-profit RCO (Recovery Community Organization) created to advocate for recovering people in Lee, Whiteside and Ogle counties in Illinois.
Serenity Hospice & Home offers care to the terminally ill and their families. This encompasses the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of the family unit with an emphasis on the desires of the patient and family. Serenity Hospice & Home believes that living continues until the moment of death and our focus is on promoting optimal living through this final journey of life.
We are a Catholic Elementary school Pre-8th grade located in Rock Falls, IL. Fundraising is vital to the success of St. Andrew School. We rely heavily on these funds to support our operating budget. Through the active participation of school families and volunteers, we expect to attain our yearly goal for the 2022-2023 school year. To help us accomplish this goal we plan various fundraisers through out the school year.
Sterling High School is the largest high school in the Sauk Valley Area, serving approximately 1050 students in Sterling, IL. Its picturesque campus is located at 1608 4th Avenue and serves its students with nationally recognized academics, a state renowned fine arts program, and championship level athletics.
Rotary International is the world's first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto Service Above Self. Sterling Noon Rotary Club meets every Tuesday at Noon at the YWCA in Sterling. Everyone is welcome to attend a meeting!

The Sterling-Rock Falls Family YMCA focuses on healthy living, youth development and social responsibility. We offer a wide variety of programs from child care, youth sports, fitness programming and family events.
The Sterling Schools Foundation works to provide the Sterling Public School system with additional program funding to go above and beyond what taxpayers provide. SSF also serves as the alumni relations entity for Sterling High School.
Sterling Township is a local unit of government. We provide assistance with basic needs such as rent and utilities to those who qualify. We are also responsible for the maintenance of Riverside Cemetery.
We are a nonprofit Catholic Church providing faith to our community. We are committed to bringing families together and striving to give hope and unity to our youth.

St. Mary's School is a Catholic elementary school that serves approximately 200 students in Sterling, IL. We serve students in grades PreK-grade 8. We provide before and after school accommodations for students and extracurricular activities. Volunteer opportunities would be appreciated with our after-school program, concession stands assistance, and set up and clean up of community activities that we may host. In Jesus' name we pray, teach, learn and serve.
St. Paul is a church dedicated to serving our community and making a place for everyone, regardless of gender, race, or socioeconomic status to feel welcome and part of the family. We are a community made up of people of all ages who love to do activities and learn together. We serve our community through our play ground and many ministry programs.
The SVCC Impact Program will harness the collective power of Sauk Valley partners and communities to create an effective, supportive, sustainable path for students to pursue a college education and achieve career success through lifelong learning, public service and economic advancement. SVCC’s earned-tuition program provides eligible students, who graduate within the Sauk district, the opportunity to earn tuition and fees for up to three years at SVCC, or until they earn their certificate or degree— whichever comes first.
The purpose of Teen Turf is to provide a facility in which youth can gather in a safe and wholesome environment, with parental supervision. The goal of Teen Turf is to focus on the family and provide after-school tutoring, counseling, and mentoring, positive role models and to strengthen the family values by focusing on the family.
The Next Picture Show (TNPS)Fine Arts Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization located at 113 W. First Street, in Dixon, Illinois. Built in 1854, TNPS opened its doors in 2004.
TNPS consists of a fine arts gallery that hosts a new art exhibition approximately every six weeks, drawing artists from around the Midwest. This space also conducts small musical concerts and is available for special event rentals. The lower level is the creative space for art classes and smaller art exhibitions.
Too Good To Pass Resale Store is owned/managed by Better Families Community Care, a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Our mission is to provide social services and tangible resources to the community of Walnut, and we do a great deal of good in the community by giving back in the forms of youth scholarships, and building a stronger Walnut community through infrastructure development and affordable housing projects. While volunteering at our resale store, students are expected to assist with the processing of clothes, and the sorting of community-wide donations in accordance with the spring, summer, fall, and winter seasons. Student volunteers are allowed to contribute by utilizing their respective skills. There are numerous opportunities for art projects (refurbishing and/or staining tables and cabinets), marketing (creating flyers and brochures), decorating the store in preparation for Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Fourth of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other Holidays. Students are also allowed to work the cash register, and to perform a wide variety of tasks based on their personal preference, while enjoying the benefits of personal growth and scholarship opportunities.
Our comprehensive child and family development program promotes self-esteem, self-confidence, and school readiness for children ages 0-5. In this area we have classrooms located in Sterling, Polo, Dixon and Oregon.

Locally, Illinois Extension provides programming opportunities in 4-H Youth Development, Family and Consumer Sciences, Horticulture, Community Economic Development, and SNAP-Ed.

The Walnut Chamber of Commerce takes a leadership role in promoting Walnut, Illinois, through active civic participation to enhance the economic well-being and improve the business climate of the community. Walnut Public Library District provides popular, high-interest materials in various formats that meet the recreational, educational, and personal needs of the patrons in the community. Special emphasis is placed on supporting patrons at various stages in life. All patrons' interest and enjoyment in reading and writing will be a priority as well as more attention will be paid to continued development of the entire population served. Materials and programs shall be selected with regards to the varying age differences of the public to provide opportunities to stimulate everyone's interests. Our library is currently working towards providing monthly programming opportunities for all ages levels.
As the West Carroll High School Counselor, I am often the frontrunner for volunteer opportunities within the communities of Savanna, Mt. Carroll, Thomson, and surrounding areas. I would like to be able to expand our volunteer opportunities to reach more students outside of National Honors Society and Servant Leadership- and I believe partnering with the impact program would give us access to more volunteers.
The Whiteside County Senior Center, a place with programs and activities geared toward seniors, but also a place for the whole community. Here you can enjoy a meal with friends, play Bingo, Price is Right, pool or cards, book club, travel club, bible study, exercise, parlor trips , and technology education! This would be a great chance for you to be a grandchild to a senior that needs up learning technology.
We are a volunteer group that helps keep the Heritage Canyon clean and thriving. There are a lot of chores that need help with at the canyon, such as: cleaning buildings, weeding and trimming, as well as some small projects that the crafters plan to do. The crafters have plans coming up this year for painting inside the buildings and could use some help. There is always a need for help at the events too.

Woodlawn Arts Academy is an educational institution, which strives to live by its motto- Where the Arts are for EVERYONE! We offer year-round, quality arts programming opportunities to all ages in all disciplines such as visual art, music, theatre, dance, education, culinary, and much more. Our programs are taught by dedicated, educated, and experienced staff members. We also continue to grow and reach more individuals, through our many classes, events, outreach programs and arts-based Preschool Program.
