• How to Sign Up for Calendar Events

  1. Log in to your Impact Program account.
  2. Click “Event Calendar” or “Upcoming Event Listing” in the red toolbar.
  3. Find an opportunity and click “I would like to attend this event”.
  4. Click the red “Sign Up for Event” button.

• How to Cancel a Calendar Volunteer Opportunity

  1. Click “Hour Tracking / Submission” in the red toolbar.
  2. Click the “Delete” button next to the event.
  3. If it's within 24 hours of the event, contact the event supervisor listed in the event description to inform them.

• How to Log Volunteer Hours for a Non-Calendar Volunteer Opportunity

  1. Students must bring a Non-Calendar Hours Submission Form when they volunteer for non-calendar events.
  2. After volunteering, log in to your Impact Program account.
  3. Click “Hours Tracking / Submission”.
  4. Click on the red button labeled “Click Here to Submit Additional Hours”.
  5. Fill out the form and upload a picture of your supervisor-signed Non-Calendar Hours Submission Form.

  Not sure if the volunteer opportunity counts towards Impact hours? Email the Impact Team at impact@svcc.edu for pre-approval.

• How to Convert Volunteer Hours

  Here are some helpful examples of how your volunteer hours should be entered on the Non-Calendar Hours Submission Form:

  • 1 Hour and 15 Minutes = 1.25 Hours
  • 1 Hour and 30 Minutes = 1.5 Hours
  • 1 Hour and 45 Minutes = 1.75 Hours
  • 2 Hours and 0 Minutes = 2 Hours
