Event Description:
The 13th Annual Taste of Fiesta continues its tradition of hosting thee largest Hispanic festival in the Sauk Valley area! During this shift, volunteers will be asked to help with Tear-Down in the afternoon hours to help the event come to a close. These Volunteers are essential to ending the day and leaving the park how we found it. During Tear-Down, volunteers can expect to help vendors clean up their booth locations in the park, assist with vendor's needs to close down their location. Lifting heavy items may be asked with a team-lift with other volunteers or vendors. Vendors may need assistance with putting away or tearing down: tents, tables or chairs. Volunteers may be asked by attendees or the public for directions to essential locations throughout the park for the festival such as: the main stage, bathrooms, vendor locations, etc. Volunteers may also be utilized by board members, vendors, or anyone in need of help at the park to help bring the event to a smooth close. Light clean up, transfer of items back to where they belong, and helping store items can occur. Check-in for this event will take place at our Taste of Fiesta tent.
Special Notes:
Please wear comfortable attire as this shift may be somewhat physically demanding for short periods. Wear comfortable shoes as a lot of walking around the park may be required.
