Event Description:
The 13th Annual Taste of Fiesta continues its tradition of hosting thee largest Hispanic festival in the Sauk Valley area! During this shift, volunteers will be asked to help with Set-up in the morning hours before the event begins. These Volunteers are essential to getting our event running smooth for the rest of the day. During set-up, volunteers can expect to help incoming vendors find their booth locations in the park, assist with vendor's needs to set-up their location. Lifting heavy items may be asked with a team-lift with other volunteers or vendors. Vendors may need assistance with tents, tables or chairs. Volunteers may be asked to help distribute event detail/maps of the event for guests and park visitors and vendors to utilize for the festival. Volunteers may be asked by attendees or the public for directions to essential locations throughout the park for the festival such as: the main stage, bathrooms, vendor locations, etc. Volunteers may also be utilized as "water runners" for other volunteers, board members, vendors, or anyone in need of water at the park. Volunteers may also assist with Taste of Fiesta amenities such as: sunblock, insect repellent, or first aid assistance. Check-in for this event will take place at our Taste of Fiesta tent.
Special Notes:
Please wear comfortable attire as this shift may be somewhat physically demanding for short periods. Wear comfortable shoes as a lot of walking around the park may be required.
