Event Description:
Summer Block Party in Dixon!
Date: Saturday, June 7, 2025
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

We're on the lookout for 1–2 awesome volunteers to help bring the fun at the Summer Block Party — a community event full of families, sunshine, and good vibes!
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
-Running super simple kids game like ring toss.
-Helping at our outreach booth — sharing info, handing out materials, and chatting with attendees.
-Covering the booth solo for about 45 minutes while I step away for a break. So being comfortable on your own is key!
Important Note:
📵 While we totally get the urge to scroll, please no phones while people are at the table — we want our space to feel welcoming and engaged!
It’s a low-pressure, high-energy volunteer gig — perfect for someone who enjoys connecting with people and having a little fun along the way.
Special Notes:
🧴 Bring your essentials:
Water bottle (stay hydrated!)
Sunscreen (nobody wants a surprise sunburn)
Visor or sunhat (shade is your friend)
👕 Dress for the occasion:
Please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate attire that you can move around in — and keep it modest and professional since you’ll be representing Hope Cancer Wellness Center.
