Event Description:
The Mount Carroll Farmers Market is every Saturday morning from Memorial Day Weekend through Halloween. The market is open to visitors from 8 am until noon. Volunteers and vendors set up from 6:45 to 7:45 am and tear down from 11:45 to 12:45 pm each week. Volunteer opportunities can be flexible if you are available only during open or closing hours instead of the entire morning. The growth of the market continues, so there is a need for volunteers on site and behind the scenes. Long-term student manager is also a possibility in the near future! The setup includes setting up canopies where needed. From 8 until 11:30, you will assist the manager with marketing and maintaining the cleanliness of the market area.
Special Notes:
The weather can be very different from set up to tear down, so bringing an extra layer is recommended. When available, we'll have t-shirts for all the volunteers to help vendors and visitors know who to go to for assistance. Must wear a smile! We have a positive and happy atmosphere!
