Event Description:
RMS will be hosting a home track Invite at Dixon High School on Saturday, May 10th, beginning at 9:00am. Meet Assistants will need to arrive and check in with Coach Thorpe at 8:30am in the Purple Athletic Tent to see event assignment. The meet should last until approximately 2:00pm with light clean up needed until 2:30pm. Impact students should have a general understanding of track and field events and will earn 6 hours of service credit. Duties may include tracking time for races, distance for throwing events, or height for jumping events. Other duties may include monitoring track lanes, leading racers from bullpen to start line/relay line, or setting up/tearing down hurdles. Students will be paired up with specific coaches to assist with specific events for this invite - 8 volunteers are needed for this event.
Special Notes:
Wear appropriate athletic clothing with layers as events in the spring can still be chilly.
