Event Description:
The Morrison Garden Club will have its annual plant sale at Odell Library in the Community Room on May 17th. We need 4 volunteers to assist our customers in carrying out their purchases and keeping floors swept/mopped, etc., during the sale. Moving plants as they thin out to condense the tables with the direction of members.
Each volunteer will be assigned to one of our club members for direction during the sale. The sale ends at 1, but we will need help carrying the excess plants outside, folding up some of the tables, putting the rest back in place, taking down signs, etc. Do a final sweeping and mopping of the floor.
The first two hours are rather busy, so it's crucial and beneficial for us to have that extra help during that time and for clean-up.
Special Notes:
Please wear casual clothes and comfortable shoes. Please bring a raincoat if rain is in the forecast, as you will be helping our customers carry out their purchases to their vehicles. Water and Snacks will be provided. Breaks will be allowed during the slower times. Cell phones may be used during your breaks. There will be a sign-in/out sheet for the volunteers for the Impact program. Please fill that out so you can properly get credit for the hours.
