Event Description:
The annual Shamrock 5K race & Kids Fun Run returns on Saturday, March 15th, 2025 beginning at 8:30 am for the Kids Run and 9:30 am for the 5K. The 5K race will begin in front of the Dixon YMCA on Boyd Street and finish at the Rotary Pavilion on River Street.\r\n\r\nThe Kids Fun Run will be one lap around the bridges and Heritage Crossing. Start will be at the Log Home and finish behind the Dixon YMCA building.
Special Notes:
Arrive at 8 AM on March 15th, 2025, we will meet upstairs near the gymnasium before heading outside. We may need some to help with the Kids Fun Run thats at 8:30 AM.
Volunteers make sure to wear clothes for outdoor weather and dress accordingly. (coats, pants, gloves, hats, etc)
Volunteers will be standing in designated areas to help guide runners to their next mile, hand out water, and clean up.
