Event Description:
The volunteer position at Angel Treasures- Dixon location is a rewarding opportunity for high school students, blending community service with practical retail experience. Engaging in various tasks to ensure the shop's smooth operation, volunteers will:
Sort and organize donated items
Price merchandise
Create attractive displays
Assist customers
Participants will develop essential skills like customer service, teamwork, time management, and an appreciation for community service. They will interact with a diverse range of individuals, including fellow volunteers, customers, and donors, fostering connections and empathy.
Ideal candidates should possess a friendly demeanor, reliability, and a willingness to learn and support others. This volunteer role not only enhances resumes and college applications but also offers a deep sense of fulfillment by contributing to the hospice's essential work of providing compassionate care to those in need.
Angel Treasures- Dixon Location is open:
Monday – Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Saturdays: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
