Event Description:
Volunteers will assist with a cleanup and improvement workday at the Page Park Disc Golf Course. Work will primarily include picking up sticks and limbs, clearing debris from fairways and walking areas, light course cleanup, and assisting with other miscellaneous tasks as needed throughout the morning.
Special Notes:
This will involve outdoor physical work, and volunteers should expect to get sweaty and possibly dirty. Please wear comfortable work clothes, closed-toe shoes, and preferably long pants. There are weeds, brush, uneven ground, and some areas where poison ivy may be present, so volunteers should dress appropriately for outdoor trail and park work. Work gloves are also recommended if available.
Most importantly, we plan to have a good time while getting some work done! We’re a fun group to work with, and volunteers will be rewarded with some goodies for their hard work and help throughout the morning.
Meet at the shed along Page Park Drive near the beginning of the disc golf course, in the area where the outdoor ice rink is set up during the winter.
