Event Description:
Help us keep our childcare center’s outdoor spaces clean, safe, and welcoming for our children! Volunteers will help pull weeds, tidy up flower beds and landscaped areas, and help clean up around the playground. No special gardening experience is needed, just a willingness to get your hands dirty and help out! Every helping hand makes a difference.
Special Notes:
Please wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty, closed-toe shoes, and thick work or gardening gloves. Some areas contain thistle plants, which have sharp spines, so thick gloves are strongly recommended for your protection. We also recommend bringing a water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat for sun protection. Volunteers will be working outdoors, so please dress appropriately for the weather.
