Event Description:
Volunteers will assist with the tear-down of tents and the clean-up of the Fiesta Craft & Games area. Responsibilities include packing up any remaining supplies from the Fiesta Craft & Games area and assisting vendors as they close down their booth spaces.
Volunteers may be asked to help take down and put away tents, tables, chairs, and other event equipment. Some tasks may involve lifting heavy items and should be completed using a team lift with other volunteers or vendors.
These volunteers play an essential role in ensuring the event concludes smoothly and that the park is left clean and in the same condition it was found. Once the tents have been taken down, volunteers will be provided with gloves and trash grabbers and asked to walk through the park to collect any litter remaining after the event.
Check-in for this volunteer shift will take place at the Taste of Fiesta tent.
Special Notes:
Please wear comfortable attire as this shift may be somewhat physically demanding for short periods. Wear comfortable shoes as a lot of walking around the park may be required.
