Event Description:
It's that time again! Sterling is hosting their 3rd annual Chalk the Walk event!
Date: July 11th, 2026
Time: 11am - 2pm
Location: Grandon Civic Center | 304 Brinks Cir, Sterling, IL 61081
We're looking for a volunteer to help out at our booth at the Sterling Chalk the Walk! This is a low-pressure & simple event, where you will be assisting our outreach booth, which means sharing info, handing out materials, and chatting with attendees. - Covering the booth for about 20 minutes while I step away for a break. Being comfortable on your own is key! It’s a great way to get involved, meet people, and support a local event. More information regarding what spot we are at will be sent out via email and text.
Special Notes:
🥤Bring your essentials: Water bottle (Stay hydrated!) Sunscreen (No one wants a surprise sunburn), visor, sun hat, or any kind of hat (Shade will be your friend!) 👕 Dress for the occasion: Please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate attire that you can move around in, and keep it modest and professional since you'll be representing Hope CWC.
