Event Description:
Summer Block Party in Dixon! Date: Saturday, June 6, 2026 Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Location: Dixon, IL. We're on the lookout for 1-2 amazing volunteers to help bring the fun to the Summer Block Party! This is an exciting, family-friendly, community-based event where local organizations and businesses get together to provide games, activities, and fun for the whole family.
Here's what you'll do:
- Helping administer temporary tattoos.
- Assisting our outreach booth, this means sharing info, handing out materials, and chatting with attendees.
- Covering the booth for about 45 minutes while I step away for a break. So being comfortable on your own is key!
Important Note:
📵 While we totally get the urge to scroll, please no phones while people are at the table- we want our space to feel welcoming and engaged! It's a low-pressure, high-energy volunteer gig; perfect for someone who enjoys connecting with people and having a little fun along the way!
Special Notes:
🥤Bring your essentials: Water bottle (Stay hydrated!) Sunscreen (No one wants a surprise sunburn), visor, sun hat, or any kind of hat (Shade will be your friend!) 👕 Dress for the occasion: Please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate attire that you can move around in, and keep it modest and professional since you'll be representing Hope CWC.
