Event Description:
Every year we put up over 1,000 miniature flags on the graves of veterans buried in Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison. On Saturday the 30th of May we will be retrieving the flags. Meeting location is 8:45 A.M. at the maintenance building at Grove Hill Cemetery (41.814658, -89.963019). We will divide ourselves up based on number of volunteers, put out a few ground rules and head out. Usually takes about an hour. Ground is often damp and if the humidity has been high the sticks often get stuck in the holders. Dress appropriately.
