Event Description:
Hope Cancer Wellness Center will have a pop-up location at Dale Park for Sterling Mainstreets Pop-up Market. We will have a free activity for children, such as ring toss. The volunteer will mainly assist children in playing the game but is also expected to help with setup, tear down, and communicate with the public about our services. They must be comfortable interacting with elementary-aged children and socializing with the general public. The volunteer will learn about the services Hope Cancer Wellness Center provides for the community. A Hope Cancer Wellness staff member will be with the volunteer during the duration of the event.
Special Notes:
This is an outdoor event. Please dress appropriately for the weather. Bring a water bottle and cash if you want to grab food from the vendors.
