Event Description:
The service is going to look a little different since it’s Easter. Instead of having our normal Sunday School, we’re going to be having a family worship service, and then an Easter Egg Hunt after the service.
Even though there won’t be Sunday school, we can still use your help in a few different ways! First, it’ll be helpful to be available to keep any kids occupied who may be a little squirrelly (like mine may be when both my husband and I are on stage for worship). We’re going to be giving little “worship kits” for the kids, but if you want to position yourself near a family that has young kids, you can help if they’re getting a little antsy (or need a snack or something opened).
The second way you can help is if one of you wants to be available to assist in a nursery-type role in case we have any infants - it’s been a long time since we’ve had babies, but Easter is one of those Sundays where we can expect some new faces, and there’s at least a chance we’d have someone who would need assistance with a baby.
Lastly, and most importantly, the main way we’ll need help will be with the Easter Egg hunt - if you’re able to be there right at 9:50, we’d appreciate your help in getting the eggs spread out across the front lawn. Then, after we do the hunt (which will be somewhere around 11-11:15), we’d appreciate your help transferring the candy to bags and getting the eggs/baskets stored for next year. If you’re able to stay a little longer, most likely, things will wrap up closer to 11:45 instead of the usual 11:20.
I’m about to update the timing on the Impact website, but wanted to reach out to let you know first.
Of course it’s true every week, but especially since it’s Easter, your whole family is more than welcome to join for the service, too!
