Event Description:
The 11th Annual Taste of Fiesta returns to the Sauk Valley area as thee largest Hispanic Festival for our community! Each year our festival gathers hundreds and hundreds of hungry guests throughout the day who eat delicious food from all our food vendors! This creates a messy problem as the day progresses but is definitely helped by our volunteers! Volunteers will actively engage in encouraging our festival guests to utilize the many garbage bins throughout the park and keep others from littering. Volunteers will also check garbage bins in the park in rotation to help keep garbage levels low and prevent overflows. Volunteers are provided with safety PPE to empty garbage bins and keep the park clean for all our festivities! We will provide all PPE, sanitizer, and garbage bags for volunteers. Volunteers may be asked to lift and carry for short periods of time. Volunteers are asked to take caution when working with any kind of waste and will be asked to periodically wash their hands and utilize hand sanitizer often. It's a tough job but we often hear our volunteers having fun during this shift! If you feel like you like working with your hands and doing tough work, then this is the respectable and fun shift for you!
